A titanium edition with harmonised rhodium counters on a slate-grey “Méga Tapisserie” dial and a matching rubber bracelet. The bezel, pushpieces and screw-locked crown are in extremely hard black ceramic.
Watch comes with 2 additional unworn Audemars Piguet Offshore straps – alligator and additional rubber – all new and factory AP.
Dial: Slate grey dial with “Méga Tapisserie” pattern, rhodium-toned counters, white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating, slate grey inner bezel.

Imagine a scenario where Gérald Genta’s Royal Oak wasn’t performing well in the showcases of Audemars Piguet boutiques and authorized dealers worldwide. No, this isn’t a dream; it’s the reality of 1989. The world’s first luxury sport watch was struggling to capture the interest of a younger demographic. In response, the joint Managing Director of AP turned to a rising designer named Emmanuel Gueit to create a new version of the Royal Oak. The project experienced multiple stops and starts due to Gueit’s bold and controversial design ideas, most notably the large 42mm diameter case. By the time Baselworld arrived in 1993 and AP officially introduced the Offshore, it had earned the nickname „The Beast” at the fair. Gérald Genta himself reportedly stormed into the AP booth, criticizing the new model for ruining his original design.
However, history has been kind to the Offshore. At times, especially in the early 2000s, the spin-off collection became more popular than the original Royal Oak. Today, the Offshore is one of the most recognized and sought-after watches in modern watch collecting.
In the collections of some of the world’s most famous individuals – from actors and musicians to athletes and artists – the Offshore is known for its bold presence on the wrist. Its case size, often exceeding 40mm, made it a favorite for those who wanted their watch to stand out rather than blend in. The Offshore also quickly became a platform for Audemars Piguet to experiment with various materials – grade 5 titanium, carbon fiber, PVD, and more all became staples of the collection.
