27-400 AMAGNETIC movements were fitted with a gold or beryllium lever escapement and covered by a soft iron (permalum) cap. The amagnetic calibre 27-AM 400 was launched in 1960 and is an improved version of the 1958 calibre 12”’400, fitted now with a Gyromax balance and free sprung self-compensation Breguet overcoil hairspring.
Dial, case and movement signed.
Diameter: 40 mm.

The reference 782 was in production from 1959 until approximately 1964. The watch was originally made with the caliber 23-300 or 12-400 and later using the 27-400. It is interesting to note that this watch was called the Golf watch as Patek Philippe designed it to be attached to golf bags.
