PATEK PHILIPPE ART DECO POCKET WATCH REF. 677 WITH INDELEBILE TWO TONE DIAL
A very rare, 18k gold, open faced, keyless lever, pocket watch with two tone, high indelebile dial.
Very rare REF. 677 – Art Deco pocket watch – probably the unique piece of the ref. 677 with two tone dial.
Movement: damascened nickel lever movement (cal.21-12), bi-metallic compensation balance, precision regulator.
Dial: very rare, two tone dial with  gold applied Arabic and dot numerals, subsidiary dial for constant seconds.
Case, dial and movement signed,
Accompanied by a original Patek Philippe leather box, Extract from the Archives.
The accompanying Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirms that this pocket watch was manufactured in 1938 and was sold on November 17th, 1938.
Production of reference 677 seems to have lasted for just one year between 1938 and 1939. Only 4 examples have been identified from the market of which 2 are with black dial, 1 with brown dial and only one – this piece with highly collectible two tone dial.
It is probably the unique piece of the ref. 677 with two tone dial.
