PATEK PHILIPPE HALF-HUNTING CASED PENDANT WATCH WITH EARLY ADRIEN PHILIPPE WINDING SYSTEM Patek Philippe & Co, à Genève, Invention & Exécution, Made circa 1868. Fine and rare, keyless, 18K yellow gold and enamel lady’s half-hunting cased pendant watch with Adrien Philippes first patented stem-wind.
Case: Four-body, „bassine”, blue enamel hours on the front half case cover, radial dark blue Roman numerals, the back cover with a gold monogram. Hinged gold cuvette.
Dial: White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel double spade hands.
Movement: Cal. 10, matte gilt, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance, blued steel fl at balance spring, index regulator.
Cuvette signed.
Diameter: 28 mm.
Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives and vintage ED KOEHN box (In 1861, Ed Koehn began working at Patek Philippe, as a mere employee. After 15 years of loyal service, he became Director.)
